Every girl has been there, trying to put together a hairstyle in minutes in the morning before bolting out the door to start your day.

Truth is, we could all use some tips on how to deal with a bad hair day or the classic “I don’t feel like doing my hair.” Because in reality spending an hour shampooing and blow drying in the morning just isn’t going to happen.

So I turned to some of my favorite YouTube vloggers and found three easy tips for all hair types that’ll spruce up your look and still give you plenty of time to get your morning coffee.

1. Show Stopping Pearls

This everyday ponytail is an easy up-do to create. It requires a few short seconds and actually uses your bed head to an advantage.

First throw your hair into a messy ponytail (or any type of up due) and complete the look with a pair of statement earrings.

The “I look cute but didn’t try to hard” look has made rainy days or just any casual Friday more interesting.

Perfect For: Rainy day lazy days

What you need: A hair elastic and the right pair of earrings

2. Easy Breezy Braids

Lets face it, spending 30 minutes on your hair just to have it fall flat due to a rainstorm or gust of wind isn’t a good look. A solution for all-weather ruined hair is an adorable braid that works well with medium or long hair.

Start at the middle of your hair (around the middle of your neck) and braid to the end of your hair, creating a half braid.

Next grab your comb and using your fingers, comb down the bumps and static and play with your hair till you get your desired volume.

Perfect for: Days when your hair just isn’t working!

What you need: Hairbrush and elastic

3. Making yesterday’s hairstyle work as today’s hairstyle

For days when you hit that snooze button one too many time, and all that blow drying and straightening just doesn’t seem worth it. A helpful tip to camouflage that greasy hair is to use a little baby powder on your roots.

Baby powder takes away the grease and leaves your hair feeling soft and light, all while blending into your roots.

Perfect for: Days when your hair is a hot mess from yesterday’s hairstyle

What you need: Baby powder (I suggest brand name, its smells and feels better)

Fortunately, looking great doesn’t have to take a lot of time and energy, some days its okay to cut corners. Hope this helped!
